Learning

As a STEM-based company, headed by a leader with over eight years of experience in STEM Advocacy, we understand the importance of investing in the next generation of scientists and innovators. That’s why we’re committed to generating interest and increasing achievement in STEM, especially among underrepresented populations—and our student training and mentorship program is one of the ways we do this.

STEMClever.org is a basic and high school program that utilizes a long-term training and mentoring strategy to raise underserved schools (class 4- J.H.S. 3) students’ science engagement, and scientific skills and support the long-term pursuit of STEM careers. The program was developed in July 2022, in partnership with INOVTECH STEM CENTER and Hub Concept. Each week throughout the academic year, students work individually and in small groups on challenging hands-on practices. With key input from Aviation, Robotics, and Coding Experts and teachers, student groups are formed in an age and aptitude-specific way.

Hands-on Science
Activities

We present students with an opportunity for 'kinesthetic learning, which is learning by doing as opposed to learning by listening, watching, and reading with practical Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics Experiments.

Coding

We introduce students to the key concepts of coding. Learning how to code at a young age can truly set up your child for a lifetime of success. Even if they don’t go into a specific computer science-related field, it gives them an edge in virtually every modern industry. The Integration of technology in the education process has boosted the world during the Covid-19 pandemic. It is a valuable real-time extension beyond the regular school curriculum, helping bring skills needed to excel in the fourth industrial revolution.

Robotics

STEM Robotics involves engineering, and computer science incorporated with design, construction, operation, application, and computer systems to produce something called robots.

We at STEMClever.org offer opportunities for students to learn more about the design, construction, programming, and characterization of robotic systems.

Electronics

By learning electronics, students learn to be creative with technology. This helps them develop skills such as DIY-ing, problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity, and teamwork.

The overall goal of MENTORING at STEMClever.org is to positively impact the social development and academic achievement of participating students. Through monthly group mentoring sessions, students are exposed to inspiring scientists, engineers, and conservationists, who represent a variety of careers and education pathways. By providing consistent, high-quality, STEM-focused mentoring experiences for students, STEMClever.org encourages decreased engagement in risk factor indicators, improvement of academic success indicators, and an overall increase in knowledge of and interest in STEM topics and careers.

Innovation Challenges
